So, I'm cruising along some remote two lane, rounding the curve, and there it is! An abandoned building, a rusty old car, a wrecking yard, a roadside distraction. I stop and look around. Who lived here? Whose stuff was this? What did these things mean to them? The past is all around us. It permeates these forsaken places. It's the majesty of history exemplified in a massive building facade and in a tiny artifact.
Now it's all... what? Junk? Junk you say? Not so, world grasshopper! In these places there is beauty, in these things there is life! They are here for us until, inevitably, they are swept away. It's my privilege to share this collection of images with you. I call it JunkStock! It's the less, shall we say, "formal" part of the site, but is nevertheless where the really good stuff resides -- at times a bit quirky, sometimes a little odd, sometimes downright peculiar -- stuff you've seen as you've never seen it! Please note that I am really no longer in the photography business, though you are welcome to purchase any of my images if you like. The profession has been largely sidelined as I’ve reached a fortunate position in life and and have taken on a new career. If however you have something really interesting, you really like the way I see, and you're blessed with a worthwhile budget... Let's talk! Otherwise, I'd be happy to refer you to one of my colleagues -- and I know a lot of photographers! Have a look at the photographic talent available to you in In any event, I hope you take time to enjoy the images. Thanks for your visit today -- I'm glad you're here!
