Well you know, I've been making photographs since I was a wee child...

Those earliest efforts were made with dumpy little (now very fashionable) cameras, with results as weak as the equipment -- perhaps more so.  In recent times, things have improved.  After all, I've taken advantage of opportunities to live life.  I've travelled to a few parts of the world, made a lot of friends, had some interesting experiences, and chosen a career that has taken me places I could never have imagined.

I believe in living life with passion.  I have several.  The first of course, is photography.  I'll always be a photographer.  Of equal importance is aviation.  I am a commercial pilot and flight instructor based at Falcon Field in Mesa, Arizona.  (Let's go flying!)  Both of these lend themselves to another passion -- travel.  You may have guessed that from viewing the images on this site.  Of course, the journey is often more interesting than the destination.

I'm also a collector.  Old cars, old trucks, antiques, bits of industrial stuff -- I'm fascinated by clutter.  Mine is pretty good, though nothing compared to some of the interesting people I've met...
